Election of PRSA officers for 2016-17

The previous term of national office-bearers of the Proportional Representation Society of Australia expired, in accordance with Sections 11 and 12 of the PRSA Constitution, on 31 December 2015.

The PRSA Returning Officer, Deane Crabb, has declared the following candidates to have been duly elected to the offices below for 2016-17.


President:            Mr Bogey Musidlak was elected President after a poll in which he received 28 votes,                                 and Dr Jeremy Lawrence received 16 votes, with one ballot being informal.

Vice-President:    Mr John Pyke, returned unoppposed.

Secretary:            Dr Stephen Morey, returned unopposed.

Treasurer:            Ms Julie McCarron-Benson, returned unopposed.
