SYSTEM: The letter by Henk van Leeuwin, published in The Age newspaper in Melbourne on 13 May 2025, pointedly shows the distortion of voters' will produced by single-member electoral systems. Unlike PR-STV systems, they maximize compartmentalization of voters, thus greatly reducing their choices, and leaving almost half the votes electing nobody. |
